MapmyIndia collaborates with Qualcomm to launch new CarPad

MapmyIndia have collaborated with Qualcomm Incorporated to announce the launch of their new CarPad. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S1 processor, and comes with a 7-inch capacitive touch display, 3G connectivity and a 3D GPS navigation interface.

The CarPad comes pre-installed with Aura, their latest navigation interface – with 3D navigation for maps, including house numbers, as well as city and travel guides. All the maps are pre-installed on MapmyIndia CarPad, making it independent of the network.

MapMyIndia CarPad Features-

The CarPad offers turn by turn, live voice instructions and also has information about the important landmarks, travel guides and nearby places. The device also lets you find nearby friends. The device can be mounted on the rear seat and windshield to suit the traveler’s needs and easy access. The CarPad supports calls, Social Networking and emails through inbuilt 3G & WiFi. There’s bluetooth connection available so that you can have additional ways to connect other devices to it.
