Kawasaki preparing for KRR ZX 150 mini-Ninja for India

Kawasaki 650cc Ninja could not gain market share, to which Kawasaki decided to launch a 250cc version of the bike to compete with the like of Honda CBR250R. The major reason for its failure was its price tag. There was a huge difference in the price of Kawasaki Ninja and Honda CBR.

There seems to be news in the market that Kawasaki is launching yet another version of Ninja, with 150cc engine. This lowered down version of Kawasaki Ninja would do wonders in the Indian market, if Kawasaki could do something with the price tags.

Now, before you begin laughing at us for comparing a 150cc bike with a 250, let us enlighten you about the power output of this 150cc Kawasaki, known as the Ninja KRR ZX150. The 148cc liquid-cooled, 2-stroke, single cylinder engine of this mini powerhouse produces an explosive 30.0PS of peak power at a high 10,500 rpm. Peak torque is rated at 21.6 Nm at 9,000 rpm
