Honda’s new hatchback for the Indian market is to be launched today at New Delhi. The launch of Honda Brio will further heat up the competition in this segment of cars.
According to information released by the company, the car boasts of an ‘easy-to-handle compact body (length 3,610mm x width 1,680mm x height 1,475 mm)’ while ensuring enough cabin space for five people. The Brio will be powered by a 1200cc Petrol Engine and will deliver a mileage of 20 km/ litre.
The 4-door hatchback can churn out maximum peak power of 89 Bhp at 6200 rpm and torque of 110 Nm at 4800 rpm.
Recently, Maruti launched its refreshed Swift which has clocked record booking of 100,000 cars. Honda Brio will be launched in the price range of Rs 4.5-5 Lac and will directly compete with swift, Figo, Liva, Polo, Fabia, Beat and Ritz.
