Garmin Corporation which produces Satellite Navigation systems for cars, mobile phones and for personal uses has announced FREE Lifetime map updates for its users and also launched a new product of GPS navigator nüvi 2565 LM, nüvi 2465 LM along with optional accessories of driving recorder and wireless rear view camera.
Garmin was incepted in 1989 and since then Garmin has delivered 88 million GPS enables devices which is the highest than any other navigation services provider in the world. Garmin enjoys the largest market share in the world which is then followed by TomTom. Garmin sells PND(Personal Navigation systems) as well as those installed in cars and serves sectors including automotive, aviation, marine, fitness, outdoor recreation, tracking, and wireless applications.
In April 2011, Garmin has announced partnership with Navteq, the leading provider of maps, traffic and location data.
