Recently caught was the Skoda Superb facelift, yes Skoda is going for a superb facelift. We wonder this would come to india or not, chances are more that it would be launched in India too. Meanwhile, Skoda is also working on Fabia scout and also its sedan yet to be launched, Lauretta.
The camouflage hides the fact that Skoda has done some serious changes to the nose and back end of the four-door sedan. The Superb will feature a new bumper, as the LED daytime running lights have been combined with the regular ones up top.
the air dam on the bumper now has a honey comb mesh design that tapes upward. This means that the Superb’s front bumper is an all new item. The rear end though is heavily camouflaged and thus much cannot be discerned as to what the Superb’s rear will feature. A few changes on the interiors can also be expected as a part of the usual stuff that automakers indulge in a minor facelift. What remains unclear is whether the Superb will get any mechanical changes.
Currently, the Superb is available with a choice of a 1.8 Liter, 140 Bhp TSI petrol engine, a 3.6 Liter, 260 Bhp V6 FSI petrol engine and the 2 Liter, 140 Bhp TDI diesel engine. We for one, would like the Superb to feature the more powerful 170 Bhp version of the 2 Liter TDI engine like that of the Passat.
Lets see that changes, does Skoda brings in for the D-segment sedan !!!
