Earlier last week, when Yamaha revealed that they will be launching the new R15 variant in India on the 6th September, they did not say anything about when the bookings for the motorcycle would commence. But usually the bookings commence from the same day, the day it is launched. So we thought, the bookings for Yamaha R15 version 2.0 too would commence from the same day, that is 6th September.
New reports have emerged over the internet, which state that Yamaha Motors India has already started accepting bookings for the yet to be launched version 2.0 of their R15 sportbike. In order to cross check these reports, Rushlane team visited Yamaha dealers in Pune and the dealers were accepting bookings for the new R15 variant.
All you need to do in order to book a R15 2.0 is visit a nearby Yamaha dealer with Rs 10,000 (cash, check, DD) as an advance towards payment for the new R15. Once you hand over the booking amount, you will be given a receipt. According to the dealers we spoke to, the new R15 comes with a waiting period of a month approximately.
