Prius Project concept bike from Parlee Cycles lets you shift gears by just thinking about it

Massachusetts based Parlee Cycles is currently working on a futuristic bike which will allow the rider to shift gears just by thinking about it. Thanks to the electrodes, which will be fitted onto the rider’s head via his/her helmet, this futuristic bike will then sense a rider’s neuro-electrical activity, resulting in shifting of gears.
Named the Prius X Parlee (PXP) project, it is being developed in accordance with Toyota Prius Projects. Toyota Motors, the world’s largest car manufacturer has initiated a new campaign named Toyota Prius Projects, which will give a new meaning to brand Prius, more than just an electric car.
Though interesting, personally I feel that it will be very difficult for a rider to adjust to this technology. While riding, your body and mind are hardly in accordance. Suppose you are racing, your legs are tired as hell, but the finish line is in sight and you are in top gear, but thanks to your mind which thinks that your legs no longer can support you, suddenly it shifts a gear down?
What do you think about this new concept? Leave your comments below.
